Wow. Haha!
I firmly believe if there is only one thing that we could “fix” about public schooling, SMALLER CLASS SIZES would have the greatest effect.
Last year, and only in 7th hour, I was the beneficiary of a scheduling anomaly: my 7th hour was 14 kids. (Understandably, this lasted for less than a semester.)
Class sizes like that never happen! It was AWESOME! We were able to have incredible discussions, more in-depth projects, and more outdoor excursions, etc. Any would-be behavior problems were easily sorted out because the students and I were able to talk about it and come to an understanding.
Anyway, I’m not going to write more of a novel than that. But I just wanted to add that context to this video.
Excited for the school year to begin!
